Tangerine's summer special
It's summer again - that time of the year when the body becomes listless and mind likes to shutdown.  So what better way to treat both the mind and the body than with some tempting food that both looks and tastes good. Whether it is an occasion to celebrate or just a simple night out, Tangerine is the place to head to. With tongue-tickling starters, sumptuous entrees (sizzling sizzlers!) and deliciously conclusive desserts, Tangerine has some of the best food that Bangalore can offer. Better still, if there's that someone special in your life, head to Tangering on Fridays for a romantic candle-lit dinner. There's something for loyal patrons as well – lip-smacking new additions that are bound to make you forget the mundane and transport you to realms unknown. So what are you waiting for?  For booking contact: 41152678/79.

Destination 37 China Town
Chef Andrew, formerly at the Hotel Grand Ashok has now opened his own restaurant 37 China Town, at 37 Crescent hotel on Crescent Road. A cosy setting, the restaurant has a neat ambience and good food, garnished with the chef’s evergreen smile.
Even though many people do not know about the restaurant, your chances of getting a table are rare if you have not booked one, especially for dinner. There’s a good variety for starters. Grilled pepper fish, crispy fried vegetables or momos (vegetarian or non vegetarian; fried or steamed) are good bets. You can order your drink from the bar or get a fresh fruit juice. There are also some good mocktails like San Francisco — a mix of cranberry, apple juice, pomegranate syrup and lemonade or Man-go to Tango with blnded mango, strawberry and orange juice. The main course has a huge bouquet of dishes on offer. For those who love sea food, ‘Butter chilli garlic prawns’ and ‘Crab with butter mushroom’ with ‘Chicken autumn rice’ or ‘Schezwan noodles’ can be good options. You can also pick roast chicken. Vegetarians need not despair; there are enough dishes to choose from.
For desserts, Andrew’s fried ice cream, hot brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or date pancake are good options to wind up a good meal. For reservations call 40373737/8.
