Family rule out of tune with emerging India
Rahul should start thinking out of the box and immediately start internal democratisation of the congress at all levels thus saying goodbye to adhocism once and for all.

Sir, This has reference to "Cong, an ageing family business", a fantastic article by Rajdeep Sardesai (DH 26.05.07.)At a time when an array of sycophants and self seekers in congress are glorifying flattering and praising Raul Gandhi " for reducing the seats  tally and for reducing the voter percentage"  in  just concluded UP polls, the scion of Gandhi family should read Rajdeep's honest, clinical analysis  of the malaise afflicting the congress party and the remedies offered.

Rahul  should start thinking out of the box and immediately  start  internal democratisation of the congress at all levels thus saying goodbye to adhocism once and for all.

Rahul will have to genuinely believe that  he is one amongst  the billion plus strong, prime ministerial aspirants and not  the "only one". as is being projected.

The feudal, ' I am on a higher pedestal', and 'you always have to be subservient' approach will not cut ice with the present Indian generation.

The crux of the matter is that "Family rule" is out of tune with the liking, dreams and aspirations of "emerging India".

All round reform is the  need of the hour as far as congress is concerned.
