Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places over Coastal, South Interior and North Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.1°C over the State.
Forecast: Valid until the morning of Sunday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places Belgaum, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Bagalkote districts of North Interior Karnataka.
Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
