ILLEGAL
Rabri halt demolished
DH News Service,Patna:

The East Central Railway (ECR) has demolished an illegal halt named after former Chief Minister of Bihar Rabri Devi. The halt had come up on Sasaram-Ara sector, which was inaugurated by her husband  Railway Minister Lalu Prasad on December 15, 2006.
After the inauguration of this 45 km-railway track last year, the villagers were peeved over non-stoppage of train at Gopalpur and therefore, they named the halt after Rabri Devi.
Hoping that no railway official would dare to oppose their move as the “illegal halt” was named after Railway Minister’s wife, the locals had a field day for the last six months when they forced every train passing through the route to stop there.
