Vishwa Basava Dharma Mahasabha has demanded proscription of Banjagere Jayaprakash’s book on Basavanna, `Anu Deva Horaganavanu’ saying that the book had defamed Basavanna and his parents.
The criminal action against the author should be initiated for hurting religious sentiments, Mahasabha’s general secretary, Rajashekar Chandanagoudar said on Tuesday.
