Campus and world class facilities
LSMU campus covers an area of 70,466 sqm and the laboratory premises covers an area of 33,598 sqm. LSMU has a very good hostel system with fully furnished rooms, quiet study environment, surrounded with recreation centres. The University has 5 hostels with the total area of 28,431 sq m for accommodation of 2,220 students. There are separate hostels for men and women. All hostel rooms are furnished and can accommodate 2 or 3 students to a room. Students who wish for a single room may avail by paying extra. Each flat also has a kitchen for students to cook food. Food catering for Indians is easily available within the campus. Hostels feature 24-hour access to security and emergency services.
Admissions
Admissions to MBBS start in June and the students need to follow the MCI stipulation of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for getting the MCI clearance with which they will be able to apply for MCI registration after completing their degree. As with any foreign university, they will have to pass the screening test for MCI registration.
