Elections will teach lesson to deceivers: Yeddyurappa
DH News Service, Kolar Gold Fields:
I will be voted as the next chief minister of the State and this was as true as the sun and moon. Nobody can stop me from being the next chief minister, expressed former chief minister Yeddyurappa...

He was addressing a public meeting, organised here on Pichcard road on Saturday, as a part of the election campaign in support of the BJP candidate Y Sampangi.

The people of Karnataka have already witnessed the Congress rule in the State and have been deceived by it.

They need change and are eager to vote BJP to power, he added.

The BJP will come to power on its own strength and the people of Kolar Gold Fields should vote for BJP leader Mr Sampangi, Mr Yeddyurappa appealed.

BJP deceived

All those who were responsible for deceiving the BJP from coming to power, will be taught a good lesson in the Assembly elections this time, he said.

The BJP had all the opportunities to come to power in the State and form the government, however, thanks to certain parties which ensured that we did not form the government, the people of Karnataka will teach a proper lesson to all those parties, Mr Yeddyurappa expressed.

If the BJP came to power in the State, the party will promise to ensure that the people here received employment opportunities, prominence will be given to the Dalit labourers, priority will be given to solve their problems, industries will be established, provisions for providing drinking water will be made and also a special package will be announced for the overall progress and development of Kolar Gold Fields, the former Chief minister informed.

Everyday thousands of people from the Kolar Gold Fields visited Bangalore city in search of employment, he noted.

The locals have not got a fair deal as far as the employment opportunities are concerned, Mr Yeddyurapppa said.

Progress

If the people elect BJP candidate Y Sampangi to power, then Kolar Gold Fields will surely find all the means of development and progress, the BJP leader added.

MLC D S Veerayya, former MLA B P Venkatamuniappa, Munirathna Naidu, Y Sampangi, Suresh Narayan Kutti, K Rajendran, Yashwant, Vikramadityan and other leaders were present on the occasion.
