Based on a reliable tip-off Tahsildar and election official Reshmath Haseena raided a house in Bodaguru belonging to Nagabhushan. Rural Sub-inspector Ramappa Gutter, Revenue Inspector Khaleel and others participated in the raid.

Disappointed

Acting on a tip-off that liquor bottles have been strored in a house in Venkatrapura, officials raided the house only to be disappointed that the bottles contained water. The officials receive the “tip-off” on the telephone and the officials including Tahsildar and election official Reshmath Haseena and Rural Sub-inspector Ramappa Gutter rushed to the spot. The police found about 300 bottles in carton marked “McDowell’s” in the house of Narayanswamy, a Congress party worker. But the bottles contained only mineral water of the same brand. The raiding team returned after drinking a few bottles of water.
