Kanaka Yuvakara Sangha of Tiptur has severely criticised the Congress party leaders for not giving a ticket to the leaders belonging to Kuruba community for the coming election which has a population of 3 lakh in Tumkur district.
The president of the Sangha Dayanand K Borappa said that though Congress always speaks of social equality it has not given a single ticket any Kuruba leader in 11 constituencies of the district. Congress by promoting some leaders of the community is eyewashing the people and is aiming to garner all the votes of the community, he added. It is high time that community shows its strength to the party,he expressed. Dayanand said that in order to teach a lesson to the party none of the community members should vote for the party in the up coming election.
His views were supported by General Secretary and Organising Secretary S Devaraj and other leaders supported.
