Prompted by disillusionment of the administration of Congress, BJP and JD(S), people are intensely looking for a third front, said CPI National Deputy Secretary and MP S Sudhakar Reddy.
Addressing party workers at B C Road on Sunday, he said Congress, BJP and JD(S) have totally failed to keep up their promises.
A third front has already come into existence in the State that includes CPI, Sarvodaya Party, Republican Party of India and Forward Block. The front is contesting for 60 seats in the State, he said.
Both CPM and SP would support the CPI candidate in Bantwal. The working class will obviously support CPI that always worked for the welfare of labourers in the unorganised sector, he stated.
The campaign CD was released on the occasion. CPI State Secretary Dr Siddanagowda Patil appealed the people to reject capitalist and corrupt politicians in the polls. Party district secretary P Sanjeev, leaders B K Krishnappa, B Vishwanath Naik and others were present.
