U, Me Aur Hum
Ajay Devgan and Kajol organised a special screening of U, Me Aur Hum at PVR, Juhu, Mumbai for The Little Sisters of The Poor, an old age home in Andheri East.

Ajay Devgan and Kajol organised a special screening of U, Me Aur Hum at PVR, Juhu, Mumbai for The Little Sisters of The Poor, an old age home in Andheri East.

Kajol met and interacted with the members of the old age home after the screening and they absolutely loved the film and found it extremely touching and heart-rending. Who the hell says that stars in Bollywood have no heart at all and only clamour for more and more moolah?

Recording off beat

Shamir Tandon has always been known for recording off beat singers at a time when music directors prefer recording with young singers. Hence it was quite exciting when recently composer Shamir Tandon got another composer Bappi Lahiri to sing a song for an offbeat film called Mumbai Chakachak — produced by Suniel Shetty in conjunction with BMC.

Shamir says, “Bappida's voice is very unique and has a fun texture and we have all grown up listening to him and his music. Even though he is a legend, you hardly feel intimidated by him as he is so easy-going and hassle-free.” The song was recorded on the auspicious day of the Bengali New Year and Shamir is confident that this number of his will become an anthem for Mumbai.
