Q: How did you prepare for the examination?
I didn’t study hours together. But, I always tried to understand the concept taught in school and remember it. I used to study for about six to eight hours on a daily basis, but during the examination I kept myself in a relaxed mood. In Maths, I made sure that I knew all the formulae well, so that it helps in solving the problems easily. But in Social Science, one needs to remember all the points, so I gave more importance to that subject.
Q: What is your next step?
I have decided to take up Science (PCMB) in Pre-University. I wish to join IIT after PUC. If I don’t get a seat, I will take up Micro-Biology in the degree course.
Q: Did you attend the coaching classes?
I did attend the coaching classes conducted by Dinesh.
Q: Why don’t some students get good marks in the examination despite working hard?
I think they fail to write the answer in a systematic manner and condense the long answers into fewer lines, as per the instructions given in the examination.
Q: Did you share your notes with other students?
I wholeheartedly shared all my notes with friends.
Q: Among all subjects, which is your favourite?
Mathematics.
Q: Why did you choose Sanskrit as first language rather than Kannada?
I often felt Sanskrit is a scoring subject.
Q: Do you think information given in the newspapers is adequate for students?
No, newspapers should publish more number of education-related stories.
Q: What about your other interests?
I play the Veena and watch cartoon films.
