They were above normal at many places over south interior Karnataka; above normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka and were normal over north interior Karnataka. Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.2 deg Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Farmers forecast valid until the morning of Tuesday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of south interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather will prevail over all the districts of coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka.
