Two people were injured when the workers of the two political parties clashed during the poll campaigning at Halepet in Srinivaspur.

According to the complaint filed by the Congress workers, JD(S) party workers allegedly attacked the Congress workers when they were campaigning for Cong candidate K R Ramesh Kumar.

Two Congress workers M Narayanaswamy and Venkatesh have been injured in the attack. The two are being treated in the government hospital. A complaint has been filed on 8 people. Police said that two have been arrested in this context.
