“Giving free electricity is our responsibility. Why should the Congress and the JD(S) leaders who are going to sit in Opposition worry about it ? We are going to be the ruling party, and we will think and decide as to what should be done and what not,” said BJP’s chief ministerial candidate B S Yeddyurappa, in a confident tone.

He has visited about 160 Assembly constituencies in the State since he stepped down from his one-week term as CM, travelling by chopper.
Good response
He was elated after seeing huge crowds during the campaign meetings in a few constituencies of Hassan and Mandya district where BJP has almost nil base, organised on Tuesday.
He has absolutely no time to rest during his copter transit. This reporter happen to travel with him on Wednesday.
He said - “Yeddyurappa becoming CM is as true as the existence of sun and moon. My statement that BJP will get majority is not based on illusions. The political situation across the State is fully in favour of the BJP,” he added.
