'It's a pro-JD(S) wave here'
DH News Service, Kgf:
There is a pro-JD(S) wave in Kolar Gold Fields and the party is going to take full advantage of this situation. And this was possible, thanks to the infighting among the Congress leaders in the City, informed former minister and JD(S) leader Alangur Srinivas...

He was taking part in the election campaign organised for the JD(S) candidate M Bhaktavatsala, in various parts of the City.

Speaking to the Deccan Herald, on the occasion, Mr Alangur Srinivas said, the public are aware of the pro-peoples’ policies implemented by the JD(S) Party, during the coalition government’s rule. People are in favour Mr Kumaraswamy and this favour has to be converted into votes. The former CM has also made up his mind to solve the drinking water problem prevailing here. The voters will have to strengthen his hands, this the public has also realised.

The former minister said, Mr Kumaraswamy knows the problems of the people. Through his pro-people programmes like Janata Darshan, Grama Vastavya, etc, he is aware of the people’s problems. He has also earned the name of being a pro-people CM. He is aware of the farmers’ and peoples’ problems.

Since the people are in favour of the JD(S), it is inevitable for the JD(S) to be elected through a sweeping majority here.

Mr Kumaraswamy had arrived on May 5 for the election campaigning and had assured the people of this region to start factories, medical college and industries in this region which would provide employment opportunities for the people residing here, the former minister added.
