Mr Yeddyurappa called on Mr Prakash at the latter’s residence and requested the JD(S) leader to guide the coalition partners in the governance.

It was Yeddyurappa’s second meeting with Mr Prakash after both the parties staked claim to form the coalition government. He had met him on October 28 to request him to support the coalition.

Later, Mr Prakash said that leaders of both the BJP and the JD(S) have been requesting him to join the cabinet.
