The Ananth Kumar-D K Shivakumar tussle is getting murkier. The state unit of Congress on Saturday lodged a counter-complaint with the Cubbon Park police station demanding action against some BJP leaders for making “derogatory” statements against AICC President Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi.

In the complaint KPCC General Secretary Prakash Rathore and Secretaries P M Ashok and Kenchegowda have stated that BJP leaders Ananth Kumar and Sadananda Gowda have stirred peace and tranquillity in the society by calling Mrs Gandhi and her son fake (nakli) Gandhis besides calling the Congress workers goondas.

The BJP,  had filed a complaint against former minister and Congress leader D K Shivakumar, taking serious exception to his remarks on senior BJP leader Ananth Kumar in the public rally held at Palace Grounds in Bangalore.
