Army recruitment

Applications are invited from candidates for recruitment of religious teachers like pandits, padres and moulvis in the army, as Junior Commissioned Officers.

Applicants should be domiciles of Karnataka, from the districts of Bangalore, Mysore, Kolar, Mandya, Tumkur, Chamarajnagar, Belgaum, Bidar, Gulbarga, Bijapur, Bagalkot, Raichur, Koppal, Dharwad, Bellary, Haveri, Ramanagara Chikaballapura and Gadag.

Only male candidates who can meet the required medical and physical standards, and aged between 27 and 34 years can apply.

In order to be eligible for the posts, candidates should be graduates, with certain additional qualifications according to the religious denomination of the individuals.

Infantry recruitment

Recruitment for the Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Army will be held in Bangalore from November 14 to 16.
Medically fit candidates who are aged between 18 and 42, with minimum height, chest and weight of 162 cm, 77 cm and 50 kg respectively, and who have passed matriculation with 45% marks are eligible.

Candidates should report at the 106 Infantry Battalion (TA) PARA, Inder Gill Lines, Benson Town- 560046, at 7 am, with original education certificate, along with a photocopy of the same, verified by an education officer or gazetted officer of the area.
