This injustice has been done due to the alleged involvement of local leaders present and former GP presidents and members, they have charged.

Though the tender the works had been sanctioned to our village, the taluk panchayat executive officer and ZP engineers had played mischief and without brining it to the notice of the legislator M R Krishnappa had transferred the works, they alleged.

About four leaders have built houses on the Harijan colony road and they have also tried to encroach the road, the affected residents complained.
