The decision was taken as Vijay has failed to dub for the film ‘Chanda,’ directed by S Narayan.
A meeting was held recently after Vijay refused to participate in the dubbing as differences of opinion cropped up between him and Narayan regarding the release of the film.
Vijay wanted at least 50 days gap between his other film ‘Yuga’, which is scheduled to be released on November 2, and ‘Chanda.’ However, Narayan, the producer and director of ‘Chanda’ wanted the film to be released much before that.
Irked by this Vijay refused to dub for the film and Narayan got another dubbing artiste to dub for him. Later, the Chamber directed Vijay to dub for the movie.
In the meantime, some miscreants threw stones at a few vehicles parked in front of Narayan’s house in Basaveshwarnagar a few days ago, raising slogans against Narayan and praising Vijay. Vijay had clarified that those indulged in the act were not his fans.
Vijay had bagged the Best Actor award last year for the film ‘Duniya’.
