Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka. Maximum temperatures appreciably rose at most places over North Interior Karnataka; rose at most places being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka. They were above normal over the State. Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They remained normal over the State. Karwar, Shirali, Mangalore AP, Panambur recorded highest maximum temperature of 32.0 deg.C. and Davangere recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 17.6 deg.C. over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Friday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of the Stat.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
