He was speaking as a chief guest at the valedictory function of the district level Science exhibition for High School students which was jointly organised by Sridevi Group of Institutes and Karnataka State Education Department in the premises of Sridevi Engineering College and said that it is necessary on the part of today’s youth to be well informed and be update on recent issues and developments in the field, he added.

Dr M R Hulinaikar, Chief of Sridevi Institutions said that the Institute would take up several programmes for the students in future. Block Education Officer C Nanjaiah who spoke on the occasion appreciated the programmes taken up by the Institute.

Winner of National Teacher’s Award winner K S Girish gave information regarding the recent developments in Science.

Education Officer Eeshwaraiah who spoke on the occasion said that gaining knowledge is very important in today’s competitive world and called upon the students to put in more efforts.

Prizes were distributed to the winners. Hundreds of students from all over the district had participated in the exhibition. Head Master Narayanappa, Physical education Teacher Amanulla, Lecturer C Nagaraju and others were present.
