Compensation paid

A compensation of Rs 5,000 was paid to wife of Eeranna, after Eeranna died of snake bite at Gowdagere hobli of Changavara village.

Social worker P L Nagaraj after giving the compensation, said that many cases of snake bites have been taking place often and criticised the apathy of the officials in getting the required medicines available instantly.

Assuring of providing basic amenities to the family of Rangamma, he said that similar cases have been happening in the village which is in dire need of basic facilities and demanded the government to provide facilities to Changavara village as early as possible.

Changavara Dasoha Krishna who spoke on the occasion also demanded suitable amenities to the village.

President of LNR Admirers’ Association of Sira block asked the government to provide more facilities to the family of Eeranna. Venkataramu, Gram Panchayat former president P Venkataramaiah, President K Narasimha Murthy, A Manjunath, Bevinahalli Krishnamoorthachar, Prakash, Muddiraj, Puravara Ravikumar and others were also present.
