Hrithik accepts offer from Brad Pitt's firm
Brillstein-Grey Entertainment, Brad Pitt's management firm for 25 years, has recently made an offer to Hrithik Roshan to represent him in Hollywood. And he has accepted it, reports IANS from Los Angeles.
“Hrithik is not in negotiations yet to do any film... but currently reviewing abundance of screen plays constantly sent to him by his new managers in Hollywood for his debut project, he is taking his time and being selective to ensure the quality of his debut film,” said Hrithik's spokesperson from the US in a press release.
Brillstein-Grey is an industry powerhouse that represents A-list stars such as Brad Pitt, Natalie Portman, Adam Sandler, and Nicolas Cage and has produced successful films like Troy and The Chocolate Factory, in addition to critically acclaimed TV shows The Sopranos.
Madeleine hunt turns to the Balkans
Private investigators searching for Madeleine McCann, the British toddler who went missing six months ago from her parents’ holiday apartment in Portugal, have now shifted their focus on the Balkans from Morocco, reports PTI from London.
The shift came after an Irish tourist on a pilgrimage to the “miracle” town of Medjugorje in Bosnia claimed that he had spotted a girl, resembling Madeleine, crying “I want my daddy” as she was driven away by a man and a woman.
“The sighting in Bosnia is being taken seriously,” the Daily Mail reported here on Sunday, quoting the spokesman for the McCanns, Clarence Mitchell, as saying.
In fact, the report of the sighting came in the first full week after the Metodo 3 hotline was set up by the McCanns for possible sightings.
Prince Harry splits with girlfriend Chelsy
Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy have split up after the young royal missed her 22nd birthday party to attend the rugby union World Cup final, the News of the World reported on Sunday, reports AFP from London.
The weekly quoted unnamed “friends” of Davy, who is a law student in Leeds, northern England, as saying she became sick of the 23-year-old army officer’s drinking habits and lack of commitment.
She reportedly ended the relationship in a series of emotional telephone calls earlier this month between Leeds and Lesotho, where Harry was meeting AIDS orphans being cared for by the charity he set up.
Royal officials refused to comment on the prince’s private life.
