The students of government Junior Composite College staged a protest in front of the office of Tahsildar on Monday.
Though the school was started 50 years ago, there are no sufficient lecturers, inspite of the increase in the number of students joining the school each year, they alleged.  The students  expressed their ire over the apathy of the government with regard to the sufficient appointment of  teachers at the high school. The number of students who were just 200 in the beginning have now increased to more than one thousand and till now, there are only 14 teachers which is insufficient, they added.
Since ten days, even mid day meals is also denied as there is no proper drinking water facility. The high school also lacks basic amenities, the students alleged.
