Vedike demands dismissal of Modi govt

 Demanding the dismissal of Narendra Modi’s Government in Gujarat, activists of Komu Souharda Vedike staged protest in the city on Tuesday.
Gujarat CM Narendra Modi had termed the communal violence in the State as the immediate response of Hindu community against Godhra carnage. Communal violence in Gujarat was planned genocide and was engineered by the persons in power. In sting operation from Tehelka, Sangha Parivar activists in Gujarat have stated that CM and Home Minister had promoted the violence. Protesters demanded for legal action against the Gujarat CM and Home Minister based on the statements of Sangha Parivar activists.
Fascist elements are trying to propagate communal hatred in the name of Hindutva. Sangha Parivar outfits are trying to repeat the Gujarat experiment in Karnataka also. Communal forces are trying to disturb the peace and amity in Baba Budangiri and coastal Karnataka, protesters alleged.
Protesters demanded for introducing reforms in police system in Gujarat, release of persons arrested on false charges and punishment for those who indulged in violence.
Leader of Rajya Raitha Sangha Kadidal Shamanna inaugurated the protest march at Science College ground. Vedike activists burnt the effigy of Narendra Modi at Gopi Circle. Protesters also submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner. Komu Souharda Vedike leaders Sripal, Esur Lokesh, Sarjashankar Haralimutt, Manjula took part.
