District-level tourism committee has been formed with Deputy Commissioner as Chairperson to promote tourism activities in the district. The committee has identified memorials, places having historical and religious importance, reservoirs, hill stations and spots having scenic beauty. The committee has sought suggestions from persons and organisations involved in tourism activities. Persons who are active in the realm of tourism can become the members of the committee.
