Karnataka Pradesh Kurubara Sangha has flayed Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa for not picking up former Water Resources Minister K S Eshwarappa to swear in as a Cabinet minister on Monday.
In a press release here, Mr Gopinath M Iti, director of the sangha said Kuruba community has highest population among other communities and it plays a vital role during elections. Under these circumstances, Mr Yeddyurappa had neglected Mr Eshwarappa by not allowing him to take oath along with him. In fact, Mr Eshwarappa was vital in the implementation of Kalasa-Bandura canal work and also striving hard for the development of the state as whole.
He warned that the Kuruba community would launch state-wide agitation in case the chief minister to give Cabinet berth to Mr Eshwarappa in the next expansion of state Cabinet. Mr Eshwarappa should be given important portfolio such as finance, urban development or home in order to serve people better.
