A clean sweep with music
DHNS

Music Hub is a venture focusing towards the promotion of artists, workshops and bands by providing a safe, alcohol, smoking and drug-free environment for the youth to unveil their talents. It aims at promoting good and clean music with a cause, which keeps it rocking and fun. It’s a stage for a fusion of genres like rock, jazz, metal and gospel. After successful launch of the Music Hub with first concert ‘GBA’ (Gospel Bands Association) in September and its second event in partnership with Yamaha called ‘Yamaha Roxx’ in October, it is all set to rock you again with GBA this November.

Gospel Bands Association was started by Music Hub to provide a platform for Gospel bands to display their talents. The gig on September 15 staged bands like Slain, Zion, Armageddon and Unstrung who gave Bangalore a new dimension to the gospel music scene. This time Music Hub brings together a fusion of bands with varied genres from Progressive Rock to White Metal and from New Age to Blues. This will be the last concert of GBA for the year 2007. Music Hub’s each concert is associated with a cause and this time will be working towards a part of precede going for a charitable trust ‘Abhayam’ working with alcoholics and drug addicts. The event is happening on November 17, from 6:30 pm - 9 pm, at the Guru Nanak Bhavan. The artists are Crimson Wood rock band from Trivandrum, Double Edge rock & blues band from Chennai, White Noiz, White Metal band from Bangalore, Destiny, the progressive rock band from Bangalore. Entry is with donor passes only. For details contact: 9901767575
