Ghogale hits the front
Pune, agencies:

Local lad Tarun Ghogale shot a level-par 71 to move into sole lead after the halfway stage of the LG Pune Amateur golf championship here on Wednesday. Ghogale took his tournament tally to one-under-par 141.
Overnight leader Manav Das submitted a poor three-over-par 74 card to slip to the second spot, a stroke behind the leader. Gagan Verma brought in a 73 to occupy the third place at 144.
Ghogale started badly with bogeys on the first and third. But he bounced back with a birdie on the ninth. On the back nine, he birdied the tenth and 11th holes but dropped a shot on the 17th to end the day at 71.
Leading scores (after 36 holes): 141: Tarun Ghogale (70, 71); 142: Manav Das (68, 74); 144: Gagan Verma (71, 73); 147: Simarjeet Singh (74, 73); 148: Navtez Singh (74, 74), Pawan Kumar (75, 73).
