Dabur India launches new cleaners
Dabur India on Thursday announced in Chennai its entry into the hard surface cleaner market with the introduction of a kitchen and floor cleaner under the brand name ‘Dazzl.’ The company also announced the signing of cine star Khushbu as the brand ambassador (in the pic above) for the cleaners. The Dazzl kitchen cleaner will be available in two SKUs of 400 ml spray (priced at Rs 75) and 500 ml toggle (Rs 65), while the Dazzl disinfectant floor cleaner will come in 500 ml SKU, priced at Rs 48.
Integra wins innovation award
Integra Micro Systems on Friday, announced that it has been awarded Most Innovative Mobile Application in a vertical market for its innovative product “iMFAST”. The award was announced at GSMA summit in China. iMFAST is a platform designed to handle financial applications targeted at rural or differently enabled customers.
ICICI Prudential’s real estate fund
ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, on Friday launched the Real Estate Securities Fund that will be investing predominantly in high yielding debt securities issued by companies that are associated with or benefiting from the real estate sector. The scheme, however, will not be directly owning or holding real estate properties, said ICICI Pru release in Mumbai. The fund is 3 year close ended debt fund.
Telcon launches new machines
Telcon, on Friday, announced the launch of a wide range of “new age” products like India’s first Zero Tail excavator ZAXIS 50 U- 2, big league excavator ZAXIS 870H- 3, 60 tonne class excavator ZAXIS 650H etc at Excon 2007 in Bangalore. They offer advantages of fuel economy, high productivity and low maintenance costs.
Essar Oil to expand capacity
Essar Oil, on Friday, announced that it would spend over Rs 24,000 crore to raise its refining capacity to 34 million tonnes a year by 2010 from its current capacity of 10.5 million, reports DHNS from Mumbai. The company also said in a statement it would issue its owners global depositary receipts (GDS) of up to $2 billion at an effective price of Rs 200 ($5.1) per underlying share. The Essar Oil Board also noted that they no longer intend to proceed with the delisting of equity shares from the Indian stock exchanges.
Volvo launches new tipper
Volvo launched its new Volvo FM 340 6X4 tipper during EXCON 2007 in Bangalore on Friday. FM 340 offers a shorter radius and greater ground clearance making it suitable for applications with congested spaces, such as tunnelling, the company said. The new tipper is equipped with 6 cylinder in-line diesel engine with a turbo charger & direct injection.
Cellworks’ R & D centre in City
California-based Cellworks Group recently announced that it has set up its R&D centre in the City. Cellworks Research India Ltd (CRIL), R & D centre of Cellworks, would develop and provide technology based solutions that hasten drug discovery research and development. CRIL’s new facility can house 110 scientists. CRIL’s research focus would be in oncology, inflammation, metabolic disorders, CNS and skin.
Accord launches aviation solution
Bangalore-based Accord Software & Systems on Friday launched NexNav, a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) solution that aims to solve many problems in the aviation industry. NexNav sensor has been engineered to improve the concept of flight safety management. NexNav is an air borne GPS sensor that tracks satellite signals & provides accurate position, velocity and time.
