Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan on Friday tendered an unqualified apology to thespian Manoj Kumar for a sequence in his latest film Om Shanti Om. “I was completely wrong... If he is hurt, I apologise,” Khan said.
“I called him in the afternoon, and the first thing he said to me was ‘It is no big deal, son’,” Khan told reporters here.
‘Done thing’
“People do parody... It is a done thing,” Khan said adding that Kumar had every right to say anything to him.
Apology
Khan’s apology came soon after reports that Manoj threatened to take legal action over a sequence in Om Shanti Om, which spoofs the film world of 1970s.
