Corps of Military Police drubbed HMT 4-1 to set up a title clash with Naveen ‘B’ in the 10th State-level hockey tournament at the BEL Colony grounds on Friday.

MICO assured of    promotion
MICO have ensured their promotion to ‘B’ Division with a 4-1 win over Hindu Socials in the ‘C’ Division football league at the 515 Army Base Workshop ground here on Friday.
Anthony struck in the 5th minute while Kapil Kumar swelled the tally nine minutes later. Abdul (34th) and Arun (58th) found the target in the second half for MICO.
Ramachandra pulled one back for Hindu Socials in the 27th minute.

The Bethany High School took the under-16 girls’ honours in the Mignon Memorial five-a-side football tournament held at Bethany High School grounds on Friday.

Pro-am golf event from today
The 13th edition of BT Honda Pro-Am of Champions golf tournament will tee off at the Eagleton Golf Resort on Saturday.
A host of CEOs will vie for top honours in the event.
The four-leg event will also see the players from three other zones Mumbai (Western Zone), Delhi (Northern Zone) and Kolkata (Eastern Zone) taking part. The respective winners from each zone will then travel to New Delhi to take part in the grand final at the Golden Greens in Gurgaon on February 24.
