Handicrafts showrooms, factory in Blore sealed  
Karnataka State Forest Department on Saturday sealed the factory and showrooms of well-known handicraft dealers Natesans, in the City and seized 77 kgs of sandalwood, 12 kgs of sandal dust and a metre-long teakwood from their alleged illegal factory at Kadugodi.
Plea to restrain MLAs from participating in proceedings  
With a day left for special session of the State Assembly convened to enable Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to prove his strength, an interim plea for restraining 39 Janata Dal (Secular) legislators, including Mr H D Kumaraswamy, from participating in the proceedings of the House on November 19, has been made to the Speaker.
