Addressing the first convention of the Kodagu District Judicial Employees’ Association on Sunday at Kala Kshethra, he said that the judicial employees must abstain selfishness and help the complainants, advocates and public. It is only with such a selfless service that they can attain satisfaction.
“Employees must first stop distinguishing people. Nature has left two things for human beings to control, that is, thoughts and heart. Hence, judicial employees must not indulge into classification of humn beings as poor and the rich while serving them. They must serve everyone equally,” he said.
Assurance
Justice Jagannathan assured to make all efforts to fill vacancies of over 69 posts existing in the district court, to provide generator, internet facilities and to fix the office closing time to 5 pm along with several other demands. He said that he will try to provide all the demands that have been asked within his jurisdiction but many of the demands need to be settled at the High Court level. In such a case, he assured to bring the demands to the notice of the High Court and solve the same.
District and Sessions Court Judge R Venkatesh presided over the programme. Association President B S Prabhakar Prasad, Deputy Commissioner K R Niranjan, District Government Employees Association President Mary Magdalene were present.
