Water supply to hit today
The water supply from Bendoor to Panambur will be disrupted owing to the repair work being undertaken at Kuloor junction from 6 am on November 19 to 6 am on November 20.
According to a press release from MCC, the affected areas include Kuloor, Panambur, Surathkal, Baikampady, Kaana Katipalla.
Amrita students shine
The students of Amrita Vidyalayam in Mangalore won the first prize in the folk dance competition held as part of the children’s fest organised by Rotaract Club at Sharada Vidyalaya. Also, another student of UKG won third prize in tricycle race. Another 4th standard student Darren won 3rd and 1st places for Western and Eastern solo singing respectively at the singing competition conducted by Bokkapatna church. Chandrika, an eighth standard student of the school won a special prize in the state-level quiz conducted by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama in Mysore.
