ASAF conference in New Delhi
The 27th Asian Securities Analysts Federation (ASAF) conference will be held in New Delhi on November 23, 2007. With Asia increasingly becoming a dominant force in the world economy, the theme for this year’s conference is “Asian Capital Markets-The way Forward.” The day long event will attract over 200 securities analysts from 14 member countries providing an opportunity for collaborative exchange among professionals across Asia and Oceania.
Central Bank, ICICI Pru tie-up
ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, the second largest fund house in the country, On Monday signed an MoU with Central bank Of India for the distribution of its products. ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company MD & CEO Nimesh Shah and Central Bank of India CMD H A Daruwalla exchanged the MoU. Central Bank of India has a network of 3,278 branches and 267 extension counters with of over 25 million customer base. The bank has upgraded its technology platform, 99.26 per cent of its branches are computerised and has installed 304 ATMs.
CSM Soft, PACE join hands
CSM Software and PACE Aerospace Engineering & Information Technology GmbH, on Monday, announced a technology tie up in Bangalore. CSM will extend the reach of PACE’s knowledge-based engineering (KBE) technology into the Indian aerospace & automotive markets, said the company in a press release. KBE’s scope covers the wide range of activities of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & multidisciplinary design optimisation.
ING’s global real estate fund
ING Investment Management India, on Monday, launched ING Global Real Estate Fund, which opens on November 20 and closes on December 14, 2007. The scheme will primarily invest in the Cayman Islands registered ING Global Real Estate Securities fund, reports DHNS from Mumbai. This is an open-ended real estate fund and will also provide access to Indian investors to global property markets.
