Training programme for lady constables

  A training programme was recently conducted by the lady constables serving at the police stations in Tumkur.
Sixt one constables were trained on various topics by SP  P Harishekaran. He spoke about who to gather evidence from a crime scene and then preserve it  for further procedure that aids the legal system. About 20 such  topics were discussed in the programme.

The programme also discussed the various steps that can be taken by the lady constables for the prevention of  communal  clashes . They also spoke about the options  incase of a communal  clash and what can  be  done by them to help bring it under control.

He also educated them about the  legal options available for them during  such  situations.Procedures in times of attacks on backward classes, passport and employment applications, summons, warrant were also on the list of  topics.

A great deal of time wa also spent on the topic of women related complaints and how one went about in such cases.
