In a press release from the Tumkur university, the political science department is organising a welcome programme for the junior students by their seniors. In the function social thinker Prof G Ramakrishna and Prof Sandeep Sahstry will present the key not address.
The event will be held at the seminar hall int he post graduate section at 11 am and will be inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of Dr O Anantharamaiaha. Prof B S Lingaraj will deliver the welcome speech. A token in memory of the President of the Kannada book authority Prof S G Siddaramaiaha will also be given away. The programme will be presided over by the Prof B K Karigowda.
