Students list for scholarships
The Kalaskar Educational Services, Shikaripur has collected the list of students who are in need of scholarships, including poor students whose parents are below poverty line and meritorious students who have scored more than 90 per cent marks in their last qualifying examinations. It will provide the list of candidates mentioning their caste, city and course free of cost to the donors.
Interested donors like individuals, trusts, institutions, missionaries and NGOs can avail the list free of cost.
The donors may donate any amount from Rs 500 to Rs 50,000 and may also donate educational aids like calculators and computers, stated a press release issued by Kalaskar Educational Services, Market Road, Shikaripur.
Mother Mauri to visit city hospital
Superior General of the Sisters of Charity Congregation of Italy Rev Mother Piercarla Mauri will be visiting Athena Institute of Nursing Sciences in Mangalore on November 20.
According to a press release, she will address the students and will later visit the patients in Athena Hospital.
She will be accompanied by Provincial Superior Sr Irene Jane D’Souza, the press release added.
