Former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Monday alleged that his life was under threat as Deve Gowda and sons were ‘performing’ black magic to eliminate him.

Speaking to reporters, an emotional Yeddyurappa accused the JD(S) supremo of performing black magic for the past week or so and that he could sense that his life was under threat. “ I am aware of the black magic practices that Gowda and his sons are performing, a plan has been hatched to finish me off. Many of his opponents have suffered this fate in the past and I could be the latest victims of Gowda’s black magic practices,” he said.

Write a will
Mr Yeddyurappa added that as a precautionary step he would write a ‘will’ immediately and also convey to the home department about the threat to his life from Gowda’s family.

“ I am not scared of my life but I can sense that there is a threat to my life. I am writing a will stating that there is a threat to my life and if any unforeseen incidents happens then Gowda and his sons will responsible for it,” he added.

The former chief minister who accused Gowda of being a practioner of ‘black magic' is himself a staunch believer of astrology.

Yeddyurappa who after being deprived of the CM post a month ago by the JD(S) had also sought the advice of numerologist and had changed his name to ‘Yeddyurappa’ from ‘Yeddiyurappa’.

Even the changed name seems to have brought no luck to him!
