BSY says
* Coalition government are run on mutual trust. Didn’t we unconditionally support the JD(S) for 20 months? We did not demand stamp paper agreement.
* For what reason does JD(S) want mining and urban development portfolios ? What is their vested interest ?
*Had we given these portfolios we perhaps would have saved the government.
*HDK on Sunday told the media that everything had been settled.
HDK defends
* Proposal to have an agreement on stamp paper first came from the BJP. A representative of the BJP submitted 8-point agreement typed on a stamp paper to Gowda on Oct 27.
* Gowda’s conditions were not all that difficult to implement.
* BJP did not trust us. They did not trust Deve Gowda.
* I wanted clarification on BSY’s statement that State would follow Gujarat model.
*We wanted to protect State’s property by having control over BMIC project. So we asked for urban development .
