Kavyananda award

Dr Narahalli Balasubramanya's book titled “Nelasamskruthi” has been chosen for the Kavyananda Award 2006 by Kannada Sahitya Samavardhaka Trust, Bangalore, instituted in memory of Dr Siddayya Puranik. The award will be presented during a function in December, said the Trust Chairman Vijaya Nandeshwar.

New ASI chief takes charge

K Tamilmani has taken over as chairman of prestigious Aeronautical Society of India Bangalore. He is chief executive of Centre for Certification of Military Aircraft in DRDO.
