EasyCapture

EasyCapture lets you capture anything on the screen including windows, objects, full screen, rectangle-selected regions, fix size regions, and scrolling windows/web pages. It's editor has a great selection of image editing options and includes several image filters too. EasyCapture also includes a tabs in it's editor so you can take several screenshots in a row and then revert to edit them. EasyCapture lets you edit the captured images and annotate. Its other features include: Region Capture; Capture Screen Window / Object; Full screen capture; Active window capture;  automatically saves capture to BMP, GIF, JPEG and PNG formats. Edit image size and color; Flip, invert, Hue or saturation and Image processing effects like blur, emboss, oil paint, halftone, Mosaic and 3D grid; Add Text annotation, and much more!  Several pundits consider EasyCapture better than faststone screen capture, however, EasyCapture does have a very steep learning curve to go through. Panda recovery tool

This is a cool tool to recover deleted files from the hard disk. It scans the computer and makes a searchable index of the files on the hard disk. With the built in search functionality one can search for files with full or partial names, file types, file sizes or with creation or last accessed dates.
