Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai were in Mangalore on Tuesday to attend the birthday celebrations of Aishwarya’s father Krishnaraj Rai, sources said.

The couple landed at Hotel Taj Majarun here around 12 noon and attended lunch hosted by Mr Rai.

Though mediapersons waited in the lobby for more than two hours, they refused to speak to them.

They were accompanied by Aishwarya’s father Krishnaraj and mother Vrinda Rai.

The couple left for Mumbai around 6.45 pm.
