The Bangalore Rural District administration raided illegal sand filtration sites on November 17 and 19 in Devanahalli taluk.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Bangalore Urban Deputy Commissioner M A Sadiq said the raid covered six villages — Karahalli, Meesaganahalli, Tailagere, Muddanayakanahalli, Mayasandra and Chikkagollahalli — in the taluk. Four lorries and three tractors and four generators were seized.
