Association of Kannada Kootas of America (AKKA) is holding Rasamanjari programmes by Kannada artists as part of Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations at eight different places in America from November 1.
Kannada artists’ team comprises comedians Richard Louis, Mysore Anand, singers L N Shastry, Shamitha Malnad and actor cum singer Sunil Rao. They will hold programmes at cities including San Francisco and New York.
Mr M Krishnamurthy of the Indian Co-ordination Committee (AKKA) said that the funds raised by the Rasamanjari programmes will be used to support orphan children of Karnataka.
