He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for the proposed Rs 50 lakh Kannada Bhavan to be build by Kannada Sangha.
Everyone should work together for the development of Kannada language and the State. Without hating other languages, one should be proud of Kannada, he said.
He also gave a suggestion to implement the use of Kannada language in administration. Sadly it should have been done much earlier, he added.
It is laudable that a Kannada Bhavan is being established in the border area. Let all works related to Kannada move smoothly, he blessed.
Legislator B P Venkatmuniyappa presiding over the function assured that all help will be given to build Kannada Bhavan.
Kannada Sangha president Pallavimani in his inaugural address explained the reason for the construction of the bhavan, its aims and the schemes to be implemented. He also announced a donation of Rs 5 lakh from Pallavi Starlinks.
