Krishnappa, who had killed Bhadramma by slitting her throat has been arrested by the investigating officer Balarame Gowda, Kunigal, H. Durga police station limits. Both the killed and Krishnappa are from Kenchanahalli.

One killed
 A lorry which rammed into a canter killed a person on the spot in the Amruthuru police station limits, near Byaladakere Gate.

The dead person has been identified as Thimmaiah (40) a retired armyman and a resident of Sakleshpur.
